Here you can find and cook up different recipes that are delicious and that can be done of course...in a Rush! Click on Here's What's Cookin' for recipes. There, you can also watch me cook.
Meals in a Rush is all about getting back to the roots of what cooking is all about! There is nothing fancy or gourmet, but still quite tasty. My recipes are easy, homegrown delights that hold a special place in my heart. I encourage the Power of the Meal, inviting family and friends into your kitchen to cook, sitting down as a family to enjoy a meal, serving those less fortunate with food and celebrating life over a delicious dish.
My fond food cooking memories started on the farm in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Growing up, I sure enjoyed my make-believe restaurants along Owl Creek. I would bake up and serve scrumptious "Mud Pies." Hey, you have to start somewhere! I then found my way to the real kitchen and started baking. Cooking always has come naturally to me. My favorite things to mix up are definitely breads and desserts. In high school, I took food classes all four years. This taught me a lot about the nitty-gritty of cooking and the staples of what and what not to do with recipes.
Check out Sweet 'n' Spicy Snapshots to see a picture of my pet pig Porky who loved eating those mud pies. There, you'll also see me trying to frost my own birthday cake at the ripe old age of 2.
I want to hear from you with any cooking tips you might have. Then, I can share those with others.
There are many Savory Selection tabs you can choose from. So, sink your teeth in and enjoy...the Meals in a Rush way!

MEALS IN A RUSH "TABLESPOON & TEASPOON TIPS" for the Kitchen & Beyond...
Wonderful uses for Bounce! "Bounce this Along"
1. Clean bake-on foods from a cooking pan. Put a sheet in a pan, fill with water, let sit overnight and then clean. The anti-static agent weakens bond between food and the pan. 2. It will chase ants away when you lay sheet near them.
3. It repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of bounce through a belt loop when outside during mosquito season.
4. Eliminate static electricity from your television or computer screen. 5. Put bounce sheet in vacuum bag to add freshness.
6. Prevent musty suitcases. Place a sheet inside empty luggage before storing.
